  • First heard this EP in 1995 on KALX Berkeley 90.7, recorded it on cassette. Track A2 (Who I Be Part 2) is single-handedly my favorite piece of music in existence. It features profoundly haunting piano samples from a dusty record with popping noise. This recording is existential and brooding with rhythmically driven prose. A fine specimen of mid 90's golden age brooklyn hip hop when producing was about digging for the right stuff. This was before hipsters infiltrated Bushwick.
