Inside the Gabriel Élansson’s thoughts (Alvaro Castro Delgado, Santiago, Chile), Articulata becomes the looping for pleasant ambients and sensations. The very act of playing with articulation (the correct word for “pronunciation”) and the artic landscapes of his country. During the process, Articulata would become rather the water cycle album, which starts either with the amniotic fluid or a waterfall. In this debut album, the water begins to flow to purify the mind and transforming disappointments into dreams, evoking the ancestors, the origin, the reasons to live and to be. Since 2006, many diverse environmental sounds had been captured in a inexpensive mp3 recorder/player, then mixed with music boxes, presets, knob beats, dulcimer (dulcémele) and a trutruca (Mapuche Instrument), among others. In track 02, Hope Epoh (Konstantinos Ntagkas, Athenas, Greece), adds his vocals; while in track 05, dundun percussions of Le Tom (Tomás Pavez, Santiago, Chile), are distorted; in number 07 Dummont XP (Chriss Rauld, Santiago, Chile) comes with his digital clarinet; and finally, CRDoctor/Cristian Reinas (Cristian Reyes, Concepción, Chile), helped with the lyrics in track 08. The flow runs continuously through these eleven tracks they work as chapters in this trip, while the names in parentheses come one after the other.
