Dagdage

BOF was a band formed by Nic Greene and Jeff Poe in the aftermath of the Blue Daisies. Having spent a few months painting houses and throwing ideas back and forth, BOF was formed with addition of Mr Sir a drum machine. Fueled by Meth and dutch courage they built a noisy bluesy minimal sound that captivated some and repelled many. Biff Sanders came on board to produce the album and added some humanity to the drums. Jon was enlisted on account of his supreme noodling ability. The album does adequate justice to the band, particularly 'everything and nothing at all' and 'last song'. On release it garnered good feedback and press from the college scene but was heavily reviled by the majors who would catch on to grunge some years hence.
